I Did Not Know my Son’s Temperature was so High!

My son became ill over the weekend and we thought it was just his sinus’s that was troubling him and also giving him a post nasal drip which was causing him to cough. Because he was not feeling well I kept him home from school.

Towards the late afternoon he was not doing well at all… hardly able to breathe through his nose it was so blocked!!

He came to me and said “Mom please pray for me I’m not feeling well at all”. I took his hands and we prayed. I asked his HF to be his doctor, to heal him and to show us what to do.

I was just about to boil hot water and add some Vicks Vaporub to the water for him to inhale the steam but instead my HH prompted me to call my EH to check if perhaps we should take him to hospital. EH suggested I rather take him to our local clinic where a nurse could see him.

I quickly bundled him into the car, so so grateful for my drivers license and my vehicle that HE blessed me with to quickly drive to the clinic where we waited in the queue. When the nurse took my son’s temperature it was very high!! She said we would need to give him a suppository ASAP! I asked her if she would give my son the suppository before we left and she agreed. She was so professional and so kind.

Ladies, I did not even know that my son’s temperature was so high! I’m so grateful to my Sweetheart, my loving and kind HH who directed our footsteps for what my son needed in that moment as it was already late afternoon and soon all doctors and the clinic would have been closed!

As I sit here typing I see my son is looking and feeling so much better today. I’m so grateful to my Beloved that HE is always there taking care of me and my family!! Thank you my Dearest Love!!

  1. Thank you for this praise dear Atarah, what a wonderful HH we have, I give Him all the glory and praise for keeping your son safe and that He led you to go to call your EH.

  2. Dear Atarah, I am glad that your son is doing better! Motherhood surely comes with many uncertainties but with the Lord, we can rely on His guidance during these moments of distress. Thank you for sharing!
