I'm here:
Seeking restoration for my marriage.
What is your current marital status? Please be sure to choose the one that BEST describes your situation.
Divorce filed and my husband does NOT live with me.
Have you read the book "How God Can and Will Restore Your Marriage?"
Yes
How did you find our ministry?
Online
Now, please tell us about your situation and why you have come to us for help and what has your husband/partner said are the main issues or problems he has with you and your relationship?
I have had a divorce and have followed your book and had times where it seemed like restoration was coming and then I didn't submit over something and he became verbal abusive and demeaning again and I withdrew our meetings and times and I regret it now because he has saught others. I just am not strong when he gets like that and there are mind games. I become depressed and was scared I would get depressed so I set a boundary. Now we meet but I can't go to our home and my 4 year old talks about another women but he says no one has been introduced to them. My heart is broken and I feel not strong like I was at first. But I know I haven't read the book through here recently.
Please use the space below to simply speak to God, in your own words, pouring your heart out to Him.
Please Father give me joy and peace in you. Please remove sin and Satan from my husband and family. Help me love and honor my husband well and not be overcome and stressed. Please help my family see the joy of the Lord in me. Help me believe we can have a good marriage since this has happened. Please give my husband a new heart to hate evil and all things You hate Father and to love all things You love. Please help us to love each other more then we ever had and to be great parents to all our child. Please completely sever any emotional or physical affair and let it rise no more. Please forgive me if I put my marriage as an idol and help me live as You want me to and have a heart for things of You in Jesus name Amen.
In order for us to minister more effectively to you, please check what concerns apply to you:

  1. Dear precious bride I am so sorry for all your hurt, I know how your are feeling, because I have been there too.

I want to encourage you to please do this lesson: https://hopeatlast.com/c2/d8-divorced/

Precious bride remember nothing is impossible for our Darling Lord, I know I received a restored marriage after divorce – “For nothing will be impossible with God.” L1:37 https://biblehub.com/luke/1-37.htm

I also really want to encourage you to please put all your focus, all your trust in our Darling Lord, take His Hand and fall in love with Him. I have to share this part I read during the week, that I know is meant for you too: “I also believe that once our precious Beloved knows that He has our hearts that He will happily begin turning the hearts of our men back to us, and they will be in hot pursuit of us! I have seen this happen in my own life, and in the lives of the ladies in our church who are beginning to grasp this powerful concept and to walk it out in their own lives!!” ( https://loveatlast.org/finding-the-abundant-life/chapter-3-the-love-of-my-life/ )

So precious bride I want to encourage you to please do the Finding The Abundant Life Course – https://loveatlast.org/finding-the-abundant-life/ and please fill in the journal after each lesson, because there you get the chance to pour out your heart to our Darling Lord, which is very important. It changed my life and making our Darling Lord our First Love fills us with so much joy and peace and I want that for each and every broken bride.

Precious bride I too had depression and our Darling Lord used His Word to heal me, I want to encourage you to please start memorizing His word. His word was the medicine I needed – “For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.” H4:12 https://biblehub.com/hebrews/4-12.htm – Please listen to my testimony – https://encouragingwomen.org/alive-with-a-purpose/

  2. Dear bride, I am so sorry for what you are going through, I know how devastating a marital crises can be, but there is hope because nothing is impossible with the Lord.

“For with God nothing shall be impossible.” https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Luke%201%3A37%2CMatthew%2019%3A26&version=KJV

I agree with everything Janine shared, focus on the Lord during this time, draw close to Him, allow Him to heal you from all past hurts. Surrender your situation in His hands and let Him do what only He can do.

“The king’s heart is in the hand of the Lord, as the rivers of water: he turneth it whithersoever he will.possible.”
    https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Luke%201%3A37%2CMatthew%2019%3A26&version=KJV

I see you are also experiencing custody issues, I also went through custody issues and lost primary custody of my children for almost a year and a half, but my Beloved Lord turned everything around for good. You can read my testimony here: https://narrowroadpublishinghouse.com/rjn-adina/

“Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the Lord.” https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Psalm+31%3A24&version=KJV

  3. Dear Bride,

I am sorry for what you are experiencing. I too lived without my EH for a time, but didn’t go through a divorce. There was another woman however. It was through His Love alone that has gotten me through everything I’ve had to face. The more that we focus on Him the less all the other things around us seem to affect us such as someone not be kind or mistreating us. His Love will supply all our needs. I saw you mention you have read the book RYM. I would like to encourage you to go through Course 2 https://hopeatlast.com/c2/ and journal all of your feelings. It helped me turn and seek to Him alone. It also helped me see the transform that was occurring within myself. I know times are hard but be encouraged He is with you through it all and will never leave you.
