We received this email in our inbox. Speaking to my Darling Beloved about sharing this I do believe that there may be many more brides out there with the same questions and struggles and believe me when I say that we ALL needed help at the start of our journeys and the main thing I learned was to Seek God because only HE has the answers. Below I will share what He has shown me to share.
Hello,
I have purchased and listened to several of your audiobooks, they are
very helpful. I won't go into details of my situation unless you would
like to know. The main goal I have right now is dying to self. I have
worn myself out for the past 15 months trying to do this and I am very
frustrated. My husband is still in the home but isn't home much. I am
having trouble focusing on God and not my situation. I know that I
need to obey to see God move however my mouth wins out a lot of the
time. I have prayed many times for God to change my heart and remove
the pride and selfishness that I have. Any help would be greatly
appreciated.Thank you
Dear Precious Bride, I am sure that by now you have picked up that we don't give advice but we will always encourage you to SG (seek God) because only He has the right answers and we want you to have nothing but the best! A lot of your questions will be answered along the way as you work your way through the Wise Woman. Have you read it?
You mentioned dying to self but rather experience The Freedom of Letting Go instead of wearing yourself out and because your husband is home I would highly recommend our Married lesson. You say that your mouth wins a lot of the time so I would recommend reading these chapters in A Wise Woman that will also speak to your heart about pride and selfishness because it's filled with so much of God's word.

A Contentious Woman
Kindness on Her Tongue
In ending I want to encourage you that Gods word says “For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again" https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Proverbs%2024%3A16&version=KJV,AMP,VOICE
So even if you struggle to follow the principles get right back up again and ask for His help!
There are also amazing lessons in Course 2 to Secure Your Success. And last but by no means least becoming His Bride and being filled with His love is what helps us to live out the principles joyfully in our daily lives!
Dear Atarah, thank you for sharing and answering with so much wisdom, that I know will help so many brides.
Yes Janine Erin always shares the scripture in Gods word about not “lighting our lamps and putting it under a basket but on a lampstand so it gives light to the whole house” https://www.biblegateway.com/verse/en/Matthew%205%3A15 so that by sharing here we it can help many more 💗
Thank you for sharing Atarah, the freedom of letting go was such a blessing to me. Not even just letting go but not trying in myself to change. I see that the moment I start to tire myself out I need to go back and see I did not stop to ask Him and give it to Him. And with some things like this stubborn attitude I can sometimes have, I have to take it to Him more than once, but little by little He makes the changes and a lot of the time we don’t even realize how much He has changed us until someone comments on it.
Love your answer!! I truggle with the same for almost a year!! Having the husband home is hard but is also a blessing!!! We die to flesh quicker!!
As Yvonne shared, Letting go changed my life!! Remining quiet, even though my mind was quick to answer, I kept my mouth shut!!! At the end I learn to cope and surrender everything to my HH!!
Now I don´t know how to go back, it has become an addiction simple to pray and let go. Let God be God!!
I absolutely agree with all the comments and yes Atarah HH guided you with much wisdom to answer in such a powerful way. As for me…. There was a time when I made all passwords… LetGo! And it really helped me alot so every time I typed it I would think or way of how I can talk less, become still, and just letting go of all my ways that I was still struggling with.
Thanks

Thank you for sharing Atarah! I needed to read the lesson about “letting go” again because I have been struggling. This is much needed reminder. Thank you again!
Atarah, this whole conversation is just a confirmation of how anointed you are at GUIDANCE, and how perfect you are to test out our proposed Spiritual Personal Trainer https://rmiou.com/spt/
Each time I think about this, I speak to my husband, and one thing that he said very often as I’ve just sat back, and WAITED is to find out if this is a “Service” or opportunity, that any one who is currently coming to hope at last is interested in? If so, then we can gather all the different stops and destinations. We’ve had over the years with helping women who are seeking restoration for any relationship, and put it together to test it out.
Let’s use this as a springboard and connect it to a new posted. Praise after you’ve spoken to your husband about what you want to do moving forward… Even if it’s to just simply WAIT.
Hi Erin He reminded me to come back and reply so I will be seeking Him to see what His plans are. I agree we have learned and done so much over the years when it came to ministering to women that it would be a shame to waste it. I’m sure there must be many out there who are currently coming or were coming that are now visiting L@L who could be interested.
