I went back and skimmed over this chapter again. As said to do in this chapter, I asked myself the questions and noticed these three questions regarding respect, I still do/ask my EH sometimes:

1. Do you ask him what time he will be home? Have you set up a curfew?

2. Do you give him privacy in his thoughts and when and where he goes? Or do you ask him: “What are you thinking?” or “Where are you going?”

3. Are you his Holy Spirit or his mother? “Honey, you really should….”

So once again, He is opening my eyes and heart to do His will in the area of respect. This chapter also reminded me “remember that by showing honor to our husbands, we bring glory to God”. That’s what it is all about anyhow!

Hi Hope thank you for sharing the parts of the lesson that spoke to youthe most! for me even though l have read it before I also sometimes find myself falling back and forgetting.. And needing to renew my mind again.. what’s make it so worth it is what you shared at the end that we bring glory to God and we do this to please Him and out of love for Him as His Bride ❣
