God’s word tells us that we must not worry or fret, it says we must stop being angry and forsake wrathful feelings but to rather rest in Him! I remember there was a time in my journey when this scripture meant a lot to me, when the OW was in my families life and l just wanted her gone! I remember reading this scripture and what caught my attention is that it was saying “yet a little while the evil man will be no more; and you will look carefully for his place, and he will not be there”. God is true to His word because He removed all the OW from my families life. While l was waiting l had to rest in the Lord and delight myself in Him becoming His Bride đ°

âRest in the Lord and wait patiently for Him; do not fret because of him who prospers in his way, because of the man who carries out wicked schemes. Cease from anger, and forsake wrath; do not fret, it leads only to evildoing. For evildoers will be cut off, but those who wait for the Lord, they will inherit the land. Yet a little while and the wicked man will be no more; and you will look carefully for his place, and he will not be thereâ (Ps. 37:7â10).
Beloved, this fretting and somber spirit will lead you into unfaithfulness with the Lord. It will lead you to false imaginations and plans of the flesh that will set you back in your walk with the Lord and His restoration. We are to think on âgood things.â Beloved, the spirit of fretting also causes our countenance to fall. Our hope is in Him! Hallelujah!! Therefore, we can rejoice and let the world, and everyone around us, see the goodness of knowing and resting in the Lord through our joyful, exuberant, and expectant countenance. Rejoice!

Thank you for this!!! There is a huge mountain that I have surrounded for years with one of my in laws and his wife!! I really needed this, because He call us to be at peace and sometimes is hard!!
I practice this principle by remaining quiet and blessing them, even though myflesh wants to get in the way!! đđˇ
It’s difficult not to worry…. As women we do it so easy…. It’s like we take it all on ourselves. Reading this is a beautiful reminder to hand everything over to our HH. Often we think we know what to do…. But it’s always better to seek HH and to put our Hope in Him alone
Thank you Atarah, o yes we can stress and worry so quickly and easily, especially when we suddenly find ourselves as single mothers and fall into a poverty mentality. But we have a Husband who we can trust upon to provide and He proofed Himself as my provider so many times over the past 3 yrs. And there is so many other things we stress about daily, relationships, things that break at home or things that just doesn’t go according to OUR plan, but also with these things I learned that He is faithful, we just have to trust Him, ask His guidance and wait for Him to act or give you the guidance you need.
