In this podcast I share 2 resources. Years ago I read "How God Can and Will Restore Your Marriage" in literally hours... I was that desperate for my marriage to be restored. And yesterday I read Chapter 1 of "Trust God to Restore Your Relationships".
In today's podcast I share my heart about my daughter and how reading "Trust God to Restore Your Relationships" Chapter 1 has encouraged me so much! Because I will be honest at 1st I felt a bit gutted and down... this is the normal way to feel... and then starts the battle in the mind... Brides it's so important to take thoughts captive with the sword of the spirit which is the word of God, you will find so much of God's word in these books 🙂 It's literally a pick me up. So you will hear me like a broken record always saying "meditate on God's word"....
Chapter 1 of both these books are similar and what struck me was how years ago the principles I learned that restored my marriage was the same principles I could put into practice in trusting God for my daughter.
Here are 3 of the scriptures I loved:
“I call heaven and earth to witness against you today, that I have set before you life and death, the blessing and the curse. So choose life in order that you may live, you and your descendants, by loving the Lord your God, by obeying His voice, and by holding fast to Him; for this is your life and the length of your days . . .” (Deut. 30:19–20)
These are 3 things God calls us to do: love Him, obey Him and hold Fast to Him.
“Be still and know that I am God . . .” (Ps. 46:10)
Be still
“A thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand, but it shall not approach you” (Ps. 91:7)

thank you for this podcast, i love to listen to it. i have read the restore your marriage book, translate it in dutch and now that i start reading it again. Because the information that is in this book are good for answers and to get solutions from the bible how to go through your trial. I think it is great book for every women that are who are desperate for solutions to restore their relationships.
I also read the first chapter of the other book Trust God to Restore Your Relationships and 1 other chapter I thought it was called “It’s All My Fault”. Both chapters were good for encouraging me and letting me know that nothing is impossible for our Lord. I hope I will be able to read that book soon.

Yes Kristine I am sure many women that are Dutch will be so blessed now that they have these resources translated. God’s word is the best way to find the best solutions for any crisis.

Wow Atarah, this took my attention so much because a few days ago, my husband led me to share about God’s Armor and where to find it in His Word. I remember when I was in a meeting some time ago discussing the Fellowships and how we forget how we felt when we started this journey. Keeping that in mind, I asked Him what could I share with others that helped me so much in my first steps of this walk and He brought to mind about His Armor and reading about His sword just confirmed to me why He brought me here today.
