How will you turn the hearts of those around you?

God’s word says that apart from Him we can do nothing. Todays devotion speaks about looking to the Lord and being hidden in Him, this is the only way we can turn the hearts of our loved ones, and by displaying the fruits of the spirit towards them which is love joy, peace, patience, self control.

His word says “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.”

“Looking upon them, Jesus said, ‘With men it is impossible, but not with God; for all things are possible with God’” (Mark 10:27).

Beloved, your situation is impossible. Without God, apart from Him, you can do nothing to turn the tide, turn the heart, save yourself from your situation or the destiny that looms before you. But not so with God! For all things are possible for us in the midst of God, when we are with Him!!

Beloved, are you with God? Do you walk daily with Him? Is He your guide, or have you looked to another? Beloved, you must be hidden in Him. You must be with Him. If you do not radiate with the love of God, which comes from a deep and intimate walk with Him, how will you turn the hearts of those around you?

Beloved, join with God. Go with His plan; look at your situation as He does. He is not distressed. He is not confused. He does not sit and wonder or worry. And it is our faith in Him that relieves us of all our distresses. Leave your situation with Him, for all things are possible with God!

  1. I sometimes still try to “fix” things myself and He will let me ware myself out until I stop and give it all to Him. I don’t know all the amazing things my Beloved is doing through my circumstances, but I do know that He is at work even when I can’t see it, even if it doesn’t make sense to me. He knows exactly what he’s doing.

“I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.”

    1. So true Hope I was the same always trying to do things in my own strength and then I also started seeing that I was frustrating myself more trying and trying until I would become so weary… One of the most powerful things I learned at the very beginning of my journey with this ministry was “Let Go & Let God” I would repeat it over and over again to myself and it always gave me such peace and it became easier over time to let go. I love the scripture you shared, apart from him we can do nothing.

  2. Thank you for sharing Atarah, the fruit of the spirit, and how it flows once we have our HH is something that can truly turn hearts. I have seen the difference in my own life, and the biggest example is with my fh, although there were other people in my life that I didn’t get along with and it showed. While I didn’t have the fruit of the spirit and kept on fighting, blaming and treating him with disrespect, there was no peace between us. But once I started treating him, and everybody else, according to the fruit of the spirit, it brought peace. If something does upset me, I give it to my HH and leave it with Him. “Letting go and letting God” is also something I often repeat to myself, or “Be still and know that I am God,” especially when something upset me.

    1. So true Adina it’s amazing how much more peaceful our lives become and how much better our relationship with people we used to be in conflict with… it’s just so amazing and such a powerful thing to display the fruits of the spirit in our daily lives with those we interact with.
