Today’s devotion took me way, waaaay back to the very start of my journey when I was so very desperate. If you have read my restored marriage testimony you will read that I used to pray the scripture in Hosea desperately over my EH earthly husband, this scripture :
She will chase after her lovers but not catch them;
she will look for them but not find them.
Then she will say,
‘I will go back to my husband as at first,
for then I was better off than now.’

I replaced ‘she’ with ‘he’ until I finally got it!! And turned the scripture around to myself. The ‘husband’ I realised was my Heavenly Husband calling me, He wanted me to come back to HIM because as the title of my RMT “It was Better For Me Then Than Now” so basically after HE restored my marriage I realised that it was better for me when I was not restored because I had ALL the time in the world to spend with my HH but living with my EH so much of my time was consumed and after a while I just never felt as happy as l did when l finally found the Lord and that deep intimacy with Him.
So ladies I would just like to end of by saying that if you find yourself in the desert right now, heartbroken, hurt then focus on the Lord and making Him number 1 in your life. Find out what it means to make HIM your Heavenly Husband and I promise you that you will also say like I did. It was better for me then than now or it is better for me now that I have found the Lord as my Heavenly Husband.

Yes Azariah my dear true joy and happiness is found in Him and then everything falls into place.. So many areas of my life that needed healing places in my life where l felt misused and misjudged… It all came right when l focused on Him and started being a doer not just a hearer of His word. I learned this scripture and it was not easy but by His grace 🙏
“But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. 23 For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror; for he observes himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was. This is exactly where I am now. I am so deeply in love with my HH that I even told my HH that I don’t want my husband back. I just want Him and Him alone. I love spending my weekends with Him. Just Him and me alone. It might sound so ridiculous for me to not want my EH back. But truly ladies, when you reach the point in your RJ that He is all you want, all you need and all that you live for, you don’t want your time with Him to diminish.

It breaks my heart 💔 and certainly His to watch so many women who suffer needlessly seeking restoration with their EH when HE THEIR HUSBAND their Maker is waiting with open arms to comfort and drench them in His love 💗 every second of every day. I also remember thinking at one time that these ladies were making the stuff up because I cannot have happiness until my marriage was restored. How wrong I was. I have never ever been as happy and at peace in my whole life than since I found Him as my Heavenly Husband. Just try it, you have nothing to loose. Ask Him and He will show you.
