“But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you” (Matt. 6:33).
Beloved, this is a promise, and God cannot lie for He is truth. However, He has a condition for this blessing. Have you sought Him first? Has He been first every day? Have you done other things ahead of meeting with Him? Is He the first one you seek when you are hurting, when you have a question, when you have no one to talk to? Is He your priority—is He first in your life? Or are you more concerned, more in love with the husband who has left or the boyfriend that you want? Beloved, the Lord sees your heart. I do not judge, but He can judge who is really first in your life.
Beloved, God is faithful. He will fulfill His part if you put Him first in your life and in your heart. God will add all the desires of your heart when you faithfully make Him first.
As I always say starting your day reading His word and devotions is a great way to start your day creating that intimacy and bond to start your day in the right mood and with the right frame of mind because you never know what your day may hold!!
