Good morning Ladies 🙂
So yesterday l went to the Love At Last blog and read the Living Lesson 81 "Accept His Help". Wow it was very thought provoking 🤔
So let me ask you ladies a few questions. Do you find it difficult to accept help? Do you say thank you, but no its fine, don't worry? Do you feel uncomfortable when somebody helps or blesses you? Are you so accustomed to doing things on your own with no help that when it's offered it feels weird or funny?
Well ladies this is me 😕 I'm so used to doing things on my own that find it very hard to ask for or accept help. I feel uncomfortable and would rather say im fine dont worry... Now I'm learning that when somebody wants to help or bless me its a blessing that comes from the Lord who wants to help me or shower me with His blessings! I'm learning to graciously smile say thank you 🙂 and then turn around and praise HIM 😉
Come and listen to this LL and please comment and share your experiences on this topic.

Thanks Atarah for sharing this living lesson am also the type of the person that I fear to get help from others especially men.
Now that the Lord wants to show that all this is coming from him will help me to be more thankful than to have fear of receiving help.
Yes Nomuula He wants to help us and sometimes we just miss it.. I was so happy to read this LL because it really helped me too and reminds me of this scripture :
Isaiah 30:18 Amplified Bible
Therefore the Lord waits [expectantly] and longs to be gracious to you,
And therefore He waits on high to have compassion on you.
[a]For the Lord is a God of justice;
Blessed (happy, fortunate) are all those who long for Him [since He will never fail them].
It’s really an eye opening because we tend to think we can do anything all my our selves, for me it’s the other way I don’t really like helping but helped, I now know that my Husband wants me to help others as they do.
Hey jerusha 🙂 tx for coming to comment. Yes ppl don’t want to ask for help but when we offer our help that is a blessing to them and isabella comment is a good reminder of how the Lord washed his disciples feet and how He LOVES ppl by his actions because actions do speak louder than words 🙏
You know my dear I was like that for a while, and then I understood like Peter that I should let: “My feet getting washed”. When I accept help, I am humbling myself to accept His care and love!!
Yes, He send us a lot of amazing blessing through a lot of people!!
We need to let go of pride!!!
JUST ENJOY THE HELP!! 🤩🤗🥰
That’s so true Isabella l think a lot of the time we have too much pride. We need to accept help graciously 🤗
