| My husband and I have been married since December 17th, 2017, and together for 10 years. He left on January 3rd 2024. Our physical intimacy has struggled for most of our marriage due to self esteem issues on my end and loss of trust between us. The emotional intimacy was struggling in the months leading up to the separation which made it harder to connect physically. So he said he was at the end of his rope. He has been too hurt by me because physical touch is his love language and he has felt undesired and neglected in that are of our life. He has also recently told me he thinks we are incompatible. I have confessed, repented and apologized to God and to my husband. I am in counseling to work on my problems and I am surrendering to the Lord daily and asking him to change me. But my husband has no desire to reconcile and believes divorce is the next right thing. |

| Lord, please draw my husband back to you. I know your Holy Spirit resides in him. He is hurting, father. His heart is hardened and he seems far from you. I know he must first be reconciled back to you before you can restore our marriage. I pray you would soften my husband’s heart and turn it back to you. Bind up his wounds and heal his broken heart. Give him hope again. In Jesus name, amen. |

God never intended us to remain “in the valley of the shadow of death.” In Psalm 23, it says that we go “through the valley of the shadow of death.” Satan wants us to think that God wants us to live there! He wants to paint a “hopeless” picture! God is our hope, and hope is the faith in His Word that has been sown in our hearts.
“But let him ask in faith without any doubting, for the one who doubts is like the surf of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. For let not that man expect that he will receive anything from the Lord, being a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways” (James 1:6–8).
After reading your MEQ He reminded me how much like you I cried out for answers to why my marriage was falling apart and praying for my husband to find the Lord. I was in prayer constantly searching for answers. My heart was broken! Please start with the book that Elora mentioned above and I also want to encourage you to the many courses found here https://hopeatlast.com/c1/. Please study and then journal your thoughts.
God can restore your marriage, even if you’re the only one pursuing restoration. Just be still and give all your concerns to Him. My husband was gone for months and living with the OW. We are now restored.
“God is our protection and our strength, He always helps in times of trouble. So, we will not be afraid if the earth shakes, or if the mountains fall into the sea. We will not fear even if the oceans roar and foam, or if the mountains shake at the raging sea.” Ps 46 ICB
I know that you are praying for your husband to come home, but most of the time God takes our loved ones away for a while to bring us closer to Him. He wants to be FIRST in your life.

What you shared reminds me so much of my situation years ago. Be encouraged to know that l am restored but this is a journey and what l learned is that the Lord took my earthly husband eh away for a time so that He could be 1st in my life.
My eh told me that he loved me but was not in love with me and it was also due to not having intimacy and other issues that he left. I failed in that area as a wife. Eh was also living with the ow other woman.

I was also crying out for answers like you and a lady shared the book with me. I then moved on to C2 and the other courses and started seeing so many changes in my situation. I became less and less sad, bitter, angry all those negative emotions and things started changing as l learned the truth. It set me free.
Gods word says my people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. I was destroying my marriage and family because l knew nothing of his word concerning marriage. He has led you here just like He did for many of us to learn the truth that set us free 🙌
