| My husband of 25 years (30 together since we were 17 years old) told me he wants a divorce says "no feelings etc" says no one else but I suspect there is at least an emotional affair with a coworker. He is filing for divorce and doesn't want to work on anything he said there is nothing left to work on he feels nothing for me. I want to change and see my marriage restored with God as the center because it is only through him that it can be done. I have done what I know to do and now I am releasing it to him to guide my next steps. |

| God you have welcomed me back when I had stepped away. I played "church" and "Christian" for years but didn't really have a deep relationship with you. While I don't like what is happening I don't regret what changes it has brought in my life with bringing me closer to you. I am walking by faith that only you will restore my marriage. I will put in the work that you want from me to do your will and turn it over as difficult as it is to you. |

Dear Bride, thank you for sharing on RMI and please know that this is a safe place for you. When the world emphasize so much on “how we feel”, it’s so important that we grab hold of the truth of what love really is (1 Corinthians 13). This is the time to stay focused on the Lord and yield to Him. “Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.” Proverbs 3:5-6

My eh and I have been together 26 years and have 3 children (22 married and we have also been together since I was 17!)
When my husband left he told me he loved me but wasn’t “in-love” with me anymore and he filed for divorce. I was devastated. The night before the first court date (I wasn’t planning on attending) my husband came and spent the night and slept through the hearing.
