So much of the word speaks about waiting… sometimes when we go thru stuff it’s hard to wait because we are looking for answers, we are looking for the solution and we want it sorted out now…
While we wait it’s so good to rest and be at peace, and when you don’t know what to do… wait. God says that “The Lord is good to those whose hope is in him, to the one who seeks him;”
Enjoy today’s Devotional 😍 take the time to speak to your beloved and wait on Him 🤗
❤ My Beloved ❤
April 3
“Wait for the Lord, and keep His way, and He will exalt you to inherit the land; when the wicked are cut off, you will see it” (Ps. 37:34).
Beloved, do not run ahead of the Lord, but wait. And while waiting make sure that you keep His way. The blessing He has is exaltation and inheritance. And His promise is that when, not if, the wickedness that is coming against you will be cut off, you will see it! Oh, how good are the promises of God!! Where else can we find—and who else can make the promises that the Lord has given us? Oh, bask in the goodness of the Lord and relish His promises to you.

Thank you, Atarah for sharing this devotional.
I love how it says…” Oh bask in the goodness of the Lord, and relish His promises to you.”
It reminds me it is good to wait for Him, especially when we struggle to wait.
Who doesn’t want to spend time basking in the goodness of the Lord – it makes the waiting season so much more wonderful.
I love that too Alina 🙂 “basking in Him” it sounds so blissful. A lot of the time we are so caught up in worries when all HE wants us to do is
– Come to Him and speak to Him about it
– then snuggle in with Him while we wait
– while we wait praise Him \o/
hahaha you just reminded me how simple it is because He wants us to give Him our worries and burdens and take His yoke because it is light and easy 🙂
It is so difficult to wait, but if we can embrace what He is doing in the wait; preparing us spiritually and emotionally for our promise, and working behind the scenes on our promise to reveal at the appointed time, we can go through the waiting season with peace and joy!
So true adina! Amen!! and I remember you were speaking about the “God’s Waiting Room” lesson 🙂 https://loveatlast.org/fc/poverty-mentality/chapter-9-gods-waiting-room/
I have been learning to enjoy the wait!!! And this is a wonderful reminder of this truth!!!
