God can restore your marriage, even if you’re the only one pursuing restoration. Just be still and give all your concerns to Him. My husband was gone for months and living with the OW. When my husband left he told me he wasn’t in-love with me anymore and he filed for divorce. The night before the first court date (I wasn’t planning on attending) my husband came and spent the night and slept through the hearing.

Only He knows what is best for you. I encourage you to keep praying and seeking Him. He will give you the strength and peace you need to get through this difficult time. I know that you are praying for your husband to come home, but most of the time God takes our loved ones away for a while to bring us closer to Him. Dear Bride, thank you for sharing your heart here at RMI. What you are going through is painful, yet, it’s THE perfect time to draw near to the Lord. When I first came here, I was focusing on restoring my marriage – one that I realized I could not change anything using my own efforts. Gradually, I understand what I should really on focusing on – Him alone. “But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.” Matthew 6:33

I agree with what Hope and Gioia shared, and the lessons they shared. Draw close to the Lord during this season, focus on your relationship with Him, let go and let God work in the situation, because only He can.
