“Kindness on Her Tongue” A Wise Woman Course

Lesson 5: Chapter 4 “Kindness on Her Tongue”

Dear ladies,

This week’s lesson is "Kindness Is on Her Tongue”. His word says that we must open our mouths with wisdom and that the law of kindness must be on our tongues. Communication is a very important aspect of marriage, but when we speak it must be with the characteristics of a godly woman. We are taught by marriage “counsellors” and “experts” that the cause of our marriage problems is a lack of communication.

In this chapter you will learn that it not a lack of communication, but how much and what we say. As women we want to talk about everything and often times just say too much with a bad attitude or with a rebellious spirit. Our tongues are small, yet deadly.

Are we able to win without words and keep silent when needed to? Do we have kindness on our tongues and sweetness of speech when we speak? Or do we use many words to try to get our point across, to have the last say or defend ourselves? Often times leading to heated arguments that cause more damage and words that are spoken with the intention to hurt.

But sweetness of speech can bring healing instead of hurting. It can bring peace instead of striving. It can soften hearts and turn situations around. But because it’s not easy, we need to Seek God and rely on Him to help us to speak with kindness and wisdom, to remain silent when needed, to speak live and not death, to build up and not break down.

Reading through this chapter will fill you with so much wisdom regarding speech, renew your mind with scripture and Biblical principles that teach us how to communicate like a godly, Wise Woman.

Please come back next week for Lesson 6!!

  1. The video is missing. I was so looking forward to watching and learning more from you Atarah about to chapter and how you applied it to your life. Will it be available later?

  2. My husband, my maker, just let me to read through the chapter quickly – – feasting my eyes on promises and principles that have been long ago sewn and cherished in my heart. As an older, wise woman, there’s no greater blessing and gift from above than these selected truths.
Once your mind has been renewed, it’s easy for your husband to guide you to know when does speak, and when to remain silent. He also will speak through you, as you keep your heart clean and devoted to him.
Be sure to listen to Esme pour these words into your ears and heart. Listen often. Be a minister to everyone around you.
    Blessings to you all!!
