Committed to my Commitment to Tithe No Matter What 🙏

This morning to my happy surprise l came in to see the post by Hope where she shares a letter with scriptures about finances. When l 1st started my journey with tithing being a divorced single mum l remember tithing was really scary because l didn’t have enough to get through the month or to feed my daughter and myself.

It was really hard at first but as the months went by and l stayed commited to my commitment to tithe no matter what and then it became easier and easier until l didn’t even miss it.

Now I’m at a place where as l have been sharing in my Poverty Mentality podcasts that even though l don’t have a source of income, no job… only this ministry He gave me, HE is my only source my Husband and He is faifhful and He provides!!

There are so many blessings l could share but if l started l could write pages and pages of it!! The main thing that l do want to share is where I’m at right now.. even though l have absolutely no idea what my income will look like this month or even month to month and even for my future im totally resting in my Love and because I am tithing and giving an offering l will rest in Him and His promises regarding this without the worries l had before.

Sometimes it’s really hard to not think about our finances and worry but when we give Him our 1st, not just our hearts but our finances too because finances is a heart thing we can rest in knowing we can believe His word regarding tithing and give our concerns regarding our finances to Him and just have faith that He will provide!!!

Here you will find many testimonies and lessons to help you with this milestone.

  1. Yes, this is a coommitment for a lifetime!!! We must put the Lord first in our lives!! It seems that we are aĂąways afraid of what the future will look like!! And trusting the Lord in our finances seems to be one of the hardest things ever, because it truly reveals our hearts!!
The Lord reminded me that we must never fear!!
We have nothing to fear from the future, unless we forget the way in which the Lord has led us, and what He has taught us in our past!!
    He will open a way!!

  2. Dear Atarah, I just shared on Adina’s post that first it was also very scary for me because not getting any help from my eh or maintance I didn’t know how I was going to do it, but every month my HH has provided. And it still somestime is scary but He always comes through for me I really have to trust Him more.

  3. It definitely has became easier. As you and Isabella mentioned, it’s another way we put Him first in our lives. Just like I’m trying every morning first, before I even put my feet on the floor, to Thank him.

  4. Thanks for your comments ladies ❣ yes Janine l remember when l was divorced my eh also didn’t give his maintenance then l payed my tithe and l prayed that should pay it and started trusting HH l remember out of the blue eh called to say his depositing the maintainable!! I was so surprised 🙌🏾😃

Yes Hope it’s so true!! and I’m so glad Isabella also shared this! It’s definitely a way in which we put Him 1st in our lives because finances does play such a major role!!

    1. The same thing happened. He didn’t have to pay, but chose to— until he was reduced to a loaf of bread when I was at the point of being excited no one but HIM was supporting me and doing so beautifully—never wanting for anything!

  5. When I first read the RYM book the first principles I followed was tithing because this was one principle I never acknowledged in my growing up and I really wanted to do this and my HH has helped me a lot in this because there have been many ups and downs on but he has been faithful and I am happy that I am doing it with my whole heart.

    1. TITHING is the Best assurance vs insurance policy you can have. Insurance companies do everything to try NOT to pay you—while GOD does everything to get you to allow Him to pay for everything you need and most of your wants AND often things you never even dreamed of having!
