Love Conquers All and Love Never Fails

“Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

Love never fails.”

This scripture is a really great “self-checker”. The message version says it in a more straight forward manner.

“If I give everything I own to the poor and even go to the stake to be burned as a martyr, but I don’t love, I’ve gotten nowhere. So, no matter what I say, what I believe, and what I do, I’m bankrupt without love.

Love never gives up.
Love cares more for others than for self.
Love doesn’t want what it doesn’t have.
Love doesn’t strut,
Doesn’t have a swelled head,
Doesn’t force itself on others,
Isn’t always “me first,”
Doesn’t fly off the handle,
Doesn’t keep score of the sins of others,
Doesn’t revel when others grovel,
Takes pleasure in the flowering of truth,
Puts up with anything,
Trusts God always,
Always looks for the best,
Never looks back,
But keeps going to the end.

Love never dies.”

A lot of the time when we are faced with situations and people, our families, spouse, a colleague and we react in a certain way. This portion of scripture couldn’t be more clear…

In this journey there is a lot of dying to self and if you’ve been here with us for awhhile you will agree.

But l have found that living out this truth has brought me so much peace and especially with those around me. Perhaps if this is something you struggle with you can ask the Lord to change you and give you a heart of flesh and to help you react more in the way He would.

I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh ♥️♥️♥️ https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Ezekiel%2036%3A26&version=NIV,TLB

  1. I’ve said before that this scripture is one of my favorites. It covers so much. I even made a picture to hang in my bedroom with the verse. I use this scripture almost daily. It covers a “..multitude of sins”. Feeling impatient?-then Love, feeling unkind? – then Love, feeling rude? – then Love. Love is much more than a feeling… it is how we treat people
Do not try and control a situation – instead love the wait with our Beloved. Our goal should be to walk in love at all times.

  2. Decades ago when I was younger, I read these words not knowing it was Scripture. I thought it was a poem Someone wrote. I am ashamed to admit that I thought to myself that it was the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever read and it was so very false. The person that wrote this was unrealistic and faced no problems ever in their life. How wrong I was. It’s so sad to say this about myself but I didn’t know it was Scripture and me and My Beloved look back and laugh about it now. How stupid I was!! 😄😂
I found out how true this is when I came to know My Beloved and His Words. I learned how to live out these things in my heart and life through this ministry, even as I faced the worst of situations where hate, anger and bitterness could have easily started to grow. I love this verse and I feel and know the truth of every Word from My Beloved Himself. 💝

    1. Aaaaah Ruby 😂 thank you for sharing with such humbleness I think it’s wonderful that you and you HH laugh about this together today 💕 it’s the same for me because a lot of the chapters in a WW really signify these traits having a Gentle and Quiet spirit.. Kindness on your Tongue… Winning without a Word.. https://hopeatlast.com/c3/ When we practice these principles and really study what God’s word says.. Anger and bitterness can’t grow… Especially when you take this scriptures into account too 🙏

  3. I love both these verses Atarah, and 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 is a good way to test our hearts to see if we love in the same way our HH loves us. And I love Ezekiel 36:26 because that was one of the first verses He gave me on my journey. The new heart and new spirit He gives us on our journey will bear the fruit of 1 Corinthians 13:4-8. My HH reminded me of these two lessons while reading the verses:
