We were married since 2014.

Lots of arguments and addiction. Both come from abusive homes. We had a child in 2015.

It's been on/off and we separated for a year 2019. In that time we both came to faith independent of one another. We reconciled and were baptized together. We moved overseas but separated again as my husband suffered from a personality disorder had he had an episode.

He left in 2022 and we divorced. We didn't speak for 2.5 years and he didn't see our son.

Christmas 2024 he wrote and sent a parcel. We've been speaking and we have forgiven one another. He's due here in 10 days to see our son.

I want to reconcile and he does not.

We were faithful in the marriage and both remained single .

Thank you x

  1. Dear precious bride from Montengro, I am so sorry for all the hurt you went through as child and the hurt you are going through now. Please listen to the podcast I did with my sister, who was also molested as child and how she found Healing Love – https://encouragingwomen.org/healing-love/
I want to give this beautiful – “For nothing will be impossible with God.” L1:37 https://biblehub.com/luke/1-37.htm and because you said that your former husband does not want to reconcile (my husband also said he will never ever reconcile after we got divorced but our Darling Lord had the last say and we were remarried) – “The king’s heart is like a stream of water directed by the LORD; he guides it wherever he pleases.” P21:1

Dear precious bride please start with Course 1 (How God Can And Will Restore Your Marriage – https://hopeatlast.com/c1/ ) and along with that I want to encourage you to please fill in the journals, because there you get the chance to pour out your heart to our Darling Lord.

  2. Dear bride,
Having read your questionnaire, I see that you have experienced a lot. Trials and struggles in your life that have caused the necessary wounds and sadness. I think this is so bad. I am certainly glad that you have found a desire in your heart to restore your marriage. A divorce is not the end of a marriage, but a new beginning of a new marriage. The fact that our lord has brought you to us is the first answer for the restoration of your marriage. Don mind what anybody else says. For God nothing is impossible.
Like you, I was the first to want a divorce from my former husband. Later regretting my decision, God gave me the book How God Can and Will Restore Your Marriage https://encouragingbookstore.com/women-resources/wrym/ . Many questions have been answered for me. Therefore, I would encourage you to begin reading this book and then begin Course 1 https://hopeatlast.com/c1/. Please, after reading each lesson, pour out your heart into the journal to gain an intimate relationship with your precious Lord. Which will be of great support and strength to you on the recovery journey you will make. Your dear Lord loves you so much and is waiting for you so that He can give you a new marriage.

“You have removed my acquaintances from me,
    You have made me an abomination to them;
I am shut in, I cannot escape.” Psalm 88:9

“The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous,
and his ears unto their cry;” Psalm 34:16

I will look forward to your praise reports of the wonderful things your Heavenly Husband will do for you🌹.

  3. Dear lovely bride. You mentioned that you repent and that is what the Lord is looking for: “The sacrifice you desire is a broken spirit. You will not reject a broken and repentant heart, O God.”

In my own life being molested as a child, I realized that a lot of pain and anger I had in me, I took into my marriage. Not allowing myself to be healed from the hurt done to me. I would love for you to read the few chapters of: “He Healed Me” and allow yourself to be healed in His presence.

He wants to be your All and once He knows, He has first place in your heart, you will see that you will look less on your circumstances and more on healing.
I tell you the truth, this path you have chosen is not an easy one, but it is so rewarding and you will never look back.
