| Husband and teen daughter left home after several years of rocky marriage issues with no progress even with counselors. There was only control and no responsibility or willingness to work toward change. There has been a lot of deceitful actions and parental alienation. He said that he can’t have a relationship with someone who disclosed “lies” about him to the counselor and pastor. |

Dear Tara,
I’m sorry that you are hurting so much during this time. I too experienced similar pain when my marriage fell apart. I had no idea that my marriage had been built on sinking sand.
When I first read How God Can Restore Your Marriage, it opened my eyes to all that I was doing wrong as a wife and took my eyes off my EH’s sins. I would encourage you to read this book and to journal after each chapter.
Your HH longs to be close to you and He wants to heal you from all the pain you are experiencing right now. Trust that He can heal you and make this relationship a priority first and everything else will come together after.
