The psalmist says that all he wants to do is to dwell in the presence of the Lord all the days of his life an gaze upon his beauty. Dont you sometimes feel like you WISH you could feel this way?
I have asked one thing from the Lord;
it is what I desire:
to dwell in the house of the Lord
all the days of my life,
gazing on the beauty of the Lord.”

I read something interesting where a writer shared that she knows that she does not feel this way due to all the distractions of life, theres so much! Books, tv, social media is the worst!! Deep down we all want this, we want to have a better relationship with HIM… She said that her prayer was praying the scripture and to ask the Lord help her to have this desire that the Psalmist has and to ask Him to please give her a heart that desires HIM 1st above everything else.
I dont know about you but l want this too!! Slowly l believe He will change our hearts to long for Him as we pray asking Him and as we meditate on the scripture and His word not the things that are distracting and take us away from Him. Last week 1 of our ministers shared that she is fasting social media… What is it that you need to do to put HIM 1st? Ask HIM.
This is what I’ve been praying about! So many distractions that demand my time. I long for the alone time with my Husband again and Him being the very most important thing in my life.
Hey Elda 🙂 its getting better for me. im definitely more focused on Him especially speaking to Him about everything that is going on in my life… Especially while busy doing my house chores 🙌
