You don’t have to be strong enough

We received this beautiful Thank You Note from Dina at the beginning of August for completing Course 2. Thank you Dina!

Dear Partners,

First, I ask your forgiveness for the long delay in expressing my gratitude. I finished this course several months ago but failed to take the time to give thanks.

I was ready to move onto the Abundant Life series, tired of thinking about my marriage, but the Lord asked me to take His hand and look back at all He had done for me. I was blessed all over again.

There is so much value and wisdom in these courses. THANK YOU for your contributions which allow these words of truth and comfort to be freely available to women like me who are lost, broken, and in need of direction.

I had faith that God could move in my situation, but I was trying to change myself and looking to my earthly husband for confirmation that I was moving in the right direction. I was still living in the fear of man, trying to explain myself and my decisions to anyone who would listen, trying to get others to join me in my hope so I wouldn’t feel so lonely.

Thank You, my Love, for leading me. When I was broken and running out of hope, You reached in and delivered me. You gave me testimonies of Your faithfulness to hold onto, and You never left me alone.

Beloved, do not be afraid. You don’t have to be strong enough; just take the hand of the One who is. He will provide everything you need. Just open your mind, your heart, and your hands to let go of all your striving and to receive from Him. He already knows what you need!

When the word “divorce” is spoken, most people will tell you to go get a lawyer. But what if you don’t want a divorce? What if God has made it clear to you that divorce is less than His perfect will? With practical advice and the authority of Scripture, “Facing Divorce” will help you to walk this path (a path you did not choose) with grace, encouraging you to look to and depend on the Lord each step of the way.

Beautiful bride, help is near, and God is for you. He sees your heart. Commit your way to Him, and He will honor your commitment.

If you are running out of hope and the will to go on, just fall at His feet and let Him hold you awhile. Very soon you will have the strength and the answers you need. Don’t take another step without Him. You are lovely; you are loved.

“Commit your way to the Lord; Trust in Him also and He will do it.” Ps 37:5
