My Beloved

Todays devotional reminded me of where I used to be.

February 12
“Teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age” (Matt. 28:20).
Beloved, loneliness and yearning for your lost love can consume and overwhelm your entire being, making you totally unaware of your Savior’s presence. He has promised to be with you.
Beloved, have you taken the time to sit in His presence? Have you poured out your love for Him with tears, with the same fervency and frequency as you have for your lost love? Or have you determined in your sorrow that your aim is to recapture the one who was lost?
Beloved, there is One who is sweeter, One who is with you. Take His hand. Give Him your love.

I still have days that the obsession to “know” or be in control tries to creep up and steal my joy. Praise to my HL for never leaving my side, loving me unconditionally and waiting for me to return.

  1. Dear Hope, I can understand what you mean. I also have those days where I wonder what if….. But every time those thoughts come up I tell myself I have another Man Isaiah 54:5 and think of the amazing things He has done for me has and still does. Oh then you will feel the love flowing. Even if you have a restored marriage you can experience the Abundant life. Because your HH is all you need. And He desires you even more than you desire Him. Yes His patience never runs out and He will always be there with open arms to receive us again.

  2. Thank you Hope, we all have difficult days, but holding on to Him on those days is what gets us through and brings us comfort and peace. He loves us so much and He wants to shower us with His love every second of every day. We can just quietly in His presence and bask in perfect LOVE He gives freely.

  3. Thank you Hope, yes I agree with the ladies by saying that our journey is like a roller coaster with ups and downs, but He is always next to us, reminding us that He will never leave us nor abandon us.
