Thanks so much Janine for your comment. I’m trusting that more Brides will listen and comment and share their experiences or even if they just share what He is showing them. It takes each one of us to ask our Heavenly Husband to lead and guide us but in the end l must say l learned so much more and l moved thru my RJ so much faster and became so much closer to my Husband when l l was no longer fed by my church but directly from Him 🙏
All of my marriage I have been the one with a steady job, the house is in my name only, I pay and take care of all the finances, and my EH rarely has any idea of the amount of any of the utilities etc (except when I used to complain about them). I was always considered the responsible one and he says himself “you know I had no money growing up, I think that is why as soon as I get money now, I spend it on “wants”” He still doesn’t want to take that role of taking care and paying the bills. So, with all that said….I’m taking it to my HL in hopes that one day my EH can not only be the Spiritual Leader but also the Head of the Household/Finances.
Hi Hope I’m so glad that you came to share this because l struggled with this too!! I had to seek my Husband to show me how to slowly start giving back the role to my eh, it took time seeking Him. I wrote down a lot of the scriptures and every morning before work l prayed the scriptures back to Him.
Today my praise is that after all the trials, a lot happened and praying for my eh in this area God heard my prayers and eh made the decision to move to another town so l was left with no job. EH got a really good job, l became a W@H. EH has been making all the financial decisions after l made room for him to do so. I have become his Helper helping him. It is so freeing!! We were going backwards in life but now l see how He is moving us forward. Tithing also played a big role in this because tithing has protected me.
