I said I would be back to share my praise \o/

“For the Lord has called you, Like a wife who has been abandoned, grieved in spirit, And like a wife [married] in her youth when she is [later] rejected and scorned,” Says your God. https://www.biblegateway.com/verse/en/Isaiah%2054%3A6

In my podcast https://hopeatlast.com/podcast-excited-that-i-get-to-trust-god/ I shared about some trials I woke up to… It’s amazing how the Lord my Heavenly Husband just worked everything out!! I said that I would be back to share my praise \o/ And I’m back!!

So I shared in my podcast that we woke up to no water and I had no idea why thinking that the municipality had installed a prepaid water meter… Well guess what??!! The municipality put our water off by mistake!! They came back within about 2 hours and put it back again 🙂 Just in time for me to have a HOT shower 🙂 \o/

I also shared that I had no fuel in my van and that I needed to fetch kids from school that eh had put money into my account but that a debit order went off so I ended up with no money again… 😬 Oh my word!! Well guess what? My younger brother drives Uber and was so happy to help me out as he had spare cash on hand AND eh put MORE money into my account so I ended up with DOUBLE!! 🙌

The other thing I shared was that I needed to wait until Friday for my income for the month to clear. Well GUESS WHAT?? It cleared on Thursday evening and I was able to take the kids out for a treat to McDonalds after my daughters volleyball match on Friday afternoon and we met up with another girl who also played volleyball and her family and had an awesome time eating together 🙂

eh had gone fishing and even though it’s fishing season and he seems to go fishing a LOT I get to spend time with my HH and the kids 🙂

Aaaaah I’m happy, blessed and content because I have the Lord who is the most wonderful darling Heavenly Husband. He truly is my knight in shining armour that comes to rescue me whenever I need help!!

The verse l shared at the beginning is probably 1 of the most important when l started my journey because even though my eh had rejected me it was that hurt and pain that the Lord used to call me to become close to Him where l found healing but later also joy ❤️

  1. How wonderful HH just shows up wherever we need Him! I have often placed too much focus on tribulations (and got overwhelmed as a result) instead of putting trust in Him. Thanks for the reminder Atarah!

    1. Aaah im so glad Gioia yes its so easy to focus on the struggles instead of being expectant and praising 🙌 in the midst of the difficulties…

  2. Thank you for sharing about the difficulties and how if you have faith He will provide. No need to worry if we just trust in Him. So glad you didn’t have to go to long without water and you received gas money for your car. As I think you know, money seems to be running low with me too. A few month ago when the motor blew up in my car and my Beloved made it so I didn’t have to pay a dime because it was still under warranty (very close to the warranty expiring) and then my eh catching a room on fire in the house 😆 and me sort of being content and thankful in both circumstances, I feel the enemy is trying his best lately to attack me with my finances. Definitely is one thing that normally gets me anxious is not being able to provide for my children. So thank you Atarah, Adina, and Isabella with your encouraging testimonies this week 💕💕 He is already showing me bit by bit that He is in control as my EH has said “don’t work your delivery job this weekend, I have money for dinner” and also for a birthday party we are to attend tomorrow. So happy we “Get To” trust in the Lord. 😊

  3. Oh my word yes Hope i remember you sharing about your car motor blowing up and the room catching on fire 😅 oh im so happy because just look at how His taking care of you giving you rest… and your families needs despite all the difficulties as you ‘get to’ trust Him 🙌

  4. Thank you, Atarah, for sharing! Last week was quite a week for me! On top of financial struggles, I also had water issues! On Wednesday I realized our water pressure was very low, only to find out later pipes burst and the reservoir supplying our town ran empty in the process. At least we still had water, but I couldn’t do laundry because the washing machine struggled with the low water pressure. That afternoon the geyser’s overflow started to leak, and it is outside my daughter’s room, running down the wall into the window, it got worse and started to stream, flooding my daughter’s room, it was not only the overflow anymore, but apparently also pushing through the vacuum breaker. My HH lead me to switch the geyser off and open warm water taps to relieve the pressure inside the geyser, but it only stopped the overflow from the pressure valve, the water pushing through the vacuum breaker continued to stream out.

My son and I tried to close the main supply tap to the house, but it was rusty, and we could not get it to turn. It was already 8:30 pm and my son said only his dad can help and he phoned my fh (I was at wits end, so I did not stop him:) but my HH gave me peace and told me it’s okay, let him help), he was more than willing to come and help. When he arrived, the complexes’ main gate did not want to open, not with the remote and also not with the cell phone (it is connected to our phone, you can dial it to open). I was able to get a lady to open it with her remote, also to open when my fh left few minutes later. My fh got the tap to turn and left it only slightly closed so I could open it the next morning to at least have cold water, but I kept the geyser off. After a few minutes, the water stopped. The agency did send a plumber the next day who changed the vacuum breaker and the water pressure started to increase as the reservoir started to fill up, they also fixed the gate, and I got a new remote because mine’s transmitter didn’t work anymore.

But all of this happened while I was busy cooking…needless to say the food wasn’t a big success and slightly burned 🙂 But PTL my children was still able to take a hot shower before things got really bad! I really felt cornered in that situation with nothing working, but my HH gave my fh a willing heart to help and my HH sorted everything out the next day.

    1. Oh my Adina i had no idea you also had water issues 😬 im so glad your HH led you and gave you peace to let your fh come help.. Sometimes we are in situations and everything happens so fast and yes we feel cornered… That is wen we can just cry to Him in our hearts saying “help” and then alow his plan to unfold in the midst of our struggles 🙏
